ESCAP’s Online Resource Centre for MSME Policy is a source of knowledge, policymaking information and contact points for people working in MSME policy in the region. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises are vital to the world economy. They are providers of employment, sources of innovation, and feed key products and services into global value chains. This Resource Centre:
- Collects a wide variety of knowledge about MSME policy across the region, for the information and interest of the region's policymakers.
- Provides a directory of institutions relevant to MSME policymaking across the region, and within each of ESCAP's Member States.
- Provides information for and about ESCAP's Asia-Pacific MSME Policymakers Network, a group of policymakers in the region that share information and experiences in formulating better MSME policy for their countries.
About this website
This Resource Centre aims to provide information to relevant policymakers in Asia-Pacific countries on what one needs to know, and what one needs to do to implement MSME policy measures that can be most useful for MSME development in the face of macroeconomic impacts, intense domestic and international competition.
